This Privacy Policy explains how StatusSaver – Save & Repost ("we", "our", or "the App") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the app.
The App helps you view and save WhatsApp & WhatsApp Business statuses stored on your device. It also provides a Direct Chat feature that lets you message any number without saving it as a contact.
Read from your local WhatsApp status folders to display them in the app. Saved to your gallery only when you tap "Save". Never uploaded to our servers.
Used only within the Direct Chat feature to open WhatsApp. Never stored, logged, or sent to us. Discarded from memory immediately after use.
Google AdMob may collect your Device Ad ID and interaction data to show and measure ads. This is governed by Google's privacy policy.
Language, dark mode, notification toggle — all stored locally on your device. Never sent to us.

Android 13+: Required to read WhatsApp status images and videos from your device storage.
Android 12 and below: Required to access status media on your device.
Android 9 and below: Required to save statuses to your gallery.
Android 13+: Optional. Sends alerts when new statuses are available. Can be turned off anytime.
Required to display ads (Google AdMob) and check for app updates.
Only used to detect the WhatsApp status folder. No access to unrelated files.
The App uses Google AdMob to display ads. Google may collect:
- Android Advertising ID
- IP address and approximate location (country/region)
- App interaction events (ad views, clicks)
We do not directly collect this data — Google does. Review Google's policy at:
policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
To opt out of personalized ads: Google Settings → Ads → Delete Advertising ID.
We do not sell your data. We share limited info only with:
- Google AdMob – for displaying and measuring ads.
- Law enforcement – only if legally required.
No other third parties receive your data.
This App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe your child has used the app and provided personal data, please contact us immediately.
