SholoTech ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is dedicated to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains our data practices for the OTP Saver - Auto OTP Manager mobile application (the "App").

1. Features, Permissions, and Why We Need Them

To provide automated OTP detection, organization, and background reliability, the App utilizes specific Android permissions and features with strict user transparency:

A. Real-Time OTP Detection (Notification Listener Service)

OTP Saver detects incoming verification codes (One-Time Passwords) strictly through Android's secure Notification Listener Service when notifications arrive from SMS messaging apps (such as Google Messages, Samsung Messages), WhatsApp, and banking applications. The App operates 100% privately on-device, does NOT read your personal SMS inbox directly, and does not require invasive SMS permissions.

• Strict Scope: We only process notifications from recognized messaging and authentication sources or apps you specifically enable.
• No Chat Reading: We only extract verification codes (OTPs). Personal conversations, contacts, or non-OTP notifications are immediately ignored.
• Zero Transmission: Notification data is processed in-memory locally on your device and is never uploaded anywhere.

B. Monitored Apps Selection (Installed Apps Query)

The App queries installed applications solely to display a selection list in "Monitored Apps", allowing you to toggle which apps OTP Saver is allowed to monitor. Your installed application list is processed locally on your phone and is never saved, uploaded, or transmitted to any server.

C. Background Battery Protection (REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS)

The App requests an exemption from aggressive OEM battery optimization solely to ensure background delivery of critical OTPs. This prevents background task killers from stopping the detection service when your screen is locked or in deep sleep mode.

D. Instant Alerts & Actions (POST_NOTIFICATIONS)

Used to provide instant heads-up alerts whenever an OTP is saved, complete with convenient "Copy OTP" and "Share" action buttons directly in your notification shade.

2. Local Storage, Backup & Complete User Control

• On-Device Database: All saved OTPs, timestamps, and sender names are stored in a private local SQLite/Room database on your device.
• Export Backup: You can export your saved OTPs into a local text backup file using Android's secure Storage Access Framework.
• Total Control: You can delete any individual OTP (with instant Undo), use Auto-Delete to purge expired codes automatically, or tap "Clear All OTPs" to permanently erase all saved data at any time.
• Uninstallation: Uninstalling the App or clearing app data permanently removes all stored OTPs from your device.

3. No Data Sharing, Tracking, or Advertising

Because the App operates 100% offline with no external network communication for user data:

• We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your data with any third party.
• We do not include third-party tracking SDKs, analytics libraries, or advertising networks.
• No user profiling, behavioral tracking, or fingerprinting is conducted.

4. Children's Privacy

Our App does not knowingly collect or solicit any personal information from children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected or transmitted, the App fully complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect app updates or regulatory changes. Any modifications will be updated directly within this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
