any cloud servers to process, scan, or store your data.

analysis happens entirely on your phone's processor.

emails, or usage statistics.
Background Protection: The app periodically checks
for duplicates locally to keep your storage clean, notifying you only
when it finds something.
User Sovereignty: You have full control over which
files are scanned and which are deleted.
Permissions & Usage
To provide its core functionality, the app requires specific
permissions. Here is exactly why we need them:
Media & Storage Access
Essential for scanning your storage to find duplicate photos, videos,
and documents. Without this, the app cannot see the files it needs to
clean.
All Files Access (Android 11+)
Required to find duplicates in system folders, downloads, and
specialized file types (like APKs) that are hidden from standard apps.
This is optional but recommended for a thorough clean.
Contacts Access
Only used if you explicitly choose to scan for duplicate contacts. We do
not sync or export your contact list.
Notifications (Android 13+)
Used to alert you when the background scanner detects new duplicate files
taking up space on your device.
Advertising & Third-Party Services
To keep this app free for everyone, we may display third-party
advertisements. These ad partners (such as Google AdMob) may collect
and use anonymous identifiers (like Android Advertising ID) to show
relevant ads to you. Please note:
No File Access for Ads: Advertisers never have access
to your photos, videos, contacts, or any other personal files.
Ad Privacy: You can reset your Advertising ID or opt-out
of personalized ads through your Android device settings.
No Private Data Sharing
Aside from the anonymous identifiers used by ad partners to display
advertisements, we do not collect, sell, or share any
of your personal files or data with third-party companies. Your
private files stay on your device.
Security Measures
Your data is protected by the standard Android security sandbox. Because
the app does not have background internet upload capabilities for your
files, your data cannot be leaked to the web by this application.
